These kits are designed to replace the first generation older design linkages that have been phased out.

If you need to replace either the Motor Linkage or Idler Linkage on these older first generation designs, you will need to replace both the Motor and Idler Linkage for either the drivers or passenger side to the new wider linkages. There is no possible way to purchase a newer design linkage and make it work on the older first generation steps. 

Note: If you purchase a kit on this page it will include the following: 

Motor Linkage,
Idler Linkage, 
Front Upper Body Mount, 
Rear Upper Body Mount and all
Designated Bolts.
