Only the AMP Research Product Power Step automatically deploys when doors open, and then quickly retracts under the rocker panel when the doors close, out of harm’s way with no loss of ground clearance. Activated by the vehicle’s door sensors, the AMP Research Power Step extends down to a natural stepping height, dropping 12-13 inches, door sill to step. Once retracted, this power-deployable running board stays cleaner as it is not exposed to dirt and grime. For added convenience, AMP Research has introduced an L.E.D. Light Kit that illuminates the stepping surface for improved nighttime safety and an optional 2-inch Extension Kit for lifted trucks.

The AMP Research Bed X-Tender is now available with Quick Latch mounts for improved attachment and removal. A convenient and easy to use release lever on each side makes loading a snap. Now the Bed X-Tender can be inserted into the universal truck bed mounting brackets at any angle, making loading larger items quick and easy. To remove, pull back on the release levers located on each side and lift the Bed X-Tender up and out of the truck.
